Better buildings,
by design.
I'm Milo Gillot, a Passivhaus Designer with a Master's degree in Civil Engineering. I work with architects, developers and private clients in the UK and Spain, on projects ranging from small domestic renovations to large residential developments.
I use building energy modelling and simulation to help design comfortable, low-energy, high-performance buildings. By testing different design options early on, I help clients understand what works best for their project, from individual design decisions through to full Passivhaus schemes.

What I can help with
Every service rests on the same approach: model the building, simulate the options, then decide. I work closely with architects, engineers and builders throughout, so that what's proposed is buildable, realistic and within budget. Projects
From whole sites to single homes
Large multi-residential schemes
Early-stage massing studies that test orientation, form and glazing across a whole site, so energy, daylight and overheating shape the scheme from the start rather than being checked at the end.
Small domestic projects
New homes, extensions and retrofits, where careful modelling helps owners put their budget into the changes that make the biggest difference to comfort and running costs.

About
My background
I studied Civil Engineering at the University of Bristol, graduating with an MEng, and I'm a Certified Passivhaus Designer. My work centres on building energy simulation: using accurate digital models to test how a building will perform before it's built, for new build and retrofit alike.
I'm based in Ibiza and work on projects in both the UK and Spain, so I'm used to working to different regulations and climates. Away from work, you'll usually find me climbing.
